Transgenic Core Facility

Transgenic Core Facility of CAF will be providing services for cryopreservation, recovery, in vitro fertilization, and rederivation of unique mice lines as well as for the generation of novel mice models.

Genotyping services

Genotyping services shall be provided for specific transgenic animals by Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) upon request for selecting animals for study cohorts, and also to set aside animals for future breeding.

Health Monitoring Laboratory

The health monitoring (HM) of laboratory rodents builds the foundation for preserving animal health and ensuring the validity of research data.

Environmental monitoring program

Microbiology monitoring of the animal facility environment can assess the efficiency of disinfection and cleaning procedures, air quality and good animal handling of practices.
